Hi, I'm Md Sharif.

Full Stack Software Developer

Focused on Backend Development & System Design.

I build scalable backend systems, APIs, business logic, and modern web applications.

About

Backend-minded, system-aware engineering

I care about how services talk to each other, how data is modeled, and how systems behave under real production pressure.

I'm Md Sharif, a full-stack developer with a strong focus on backend development. I specialize in building scalable, secure, and maintainable backend systems using Node.js, NestJS, and clean architecture patterns.

I've contributed to production projects at Softvence Ltd — building REST APIs, working with microservices (Redis, Apache Kafka), designing PostgreSQL and MongoDB data layers, and supporting Docker, Nginx, and GitHub Actions deployments.

I also have frontend experience with Next.js and React, including JWT/NextAuth authentication and SSR/CSR page delivery, so I can collaborate effectively across the stack.

Primary focus: backend development, business logic, API architecture, database design, scalable systems, and production delivery.

Roles from my CV — Softvence Ltd and Solutya Pvt. Ltd. — plus education and certifications.

  1. May 2025 — July 2026

    Software Engineer

    Softvence Ltd

    Dhaka, Bangladesh

Backend developer on production systems — REST APIs, microservices, databases, and deployment pipelines.

    • Contributed to the development of 3 production-level projects as a Backend Developer. Built and maintained scalable REST APIs using NestJS, Node.js, and TypeScript.
    • Worked with Microservices Architecture using NestJS, Event Pattern, Redis, and Apache Kafka for asynchronous communication. Collaborated with senior developers to implement backend features, resolve bugs, and improve system performance.
    • Designed and optimized PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases using Prisma ORM / TypeORM. Containerized applications using Docker and configured Nginx as a reverse proxy.
    • Assisted in deploying applications to Linux VPS environments. Contributed to CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for automated build and deployment.

    Software Developer (Intern)

    Solutya Pvt. Ltd.

    Dhaka, Bangladesh

Frontend and full-stack feature work on web applications with Next.js, React, and secure authentication.

    • Debugged and resolved issues in existing web applications to improve stability and performance. Developed and integrated new features using Next.js, React, and third-party libraries.
    • Worked with JWT authentication and NextAuth.js for secure user authentication and authorization.
    • Built pages using both Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and Client-Side Rendering (CSR) in Next.js.

Engineering Principles

How I Think About Software

A short set of defaults I try to keep when designing and shipping systems.

Design before coding

Clarify boundaries, data flow, and failure modes before writing implementation details.

Business logic first

Keep domain rules explicit and central so APIs and UI stay honest to the product.

Keep systems maintainable

Prefer clear modules, predictable interfaces, and code that future teammates can extend.

Build for failure

Expect timeouts, partial outages, and bad input — handle them deliberately.

Measure before optimizing

Profile and observe first. Optimize the bottlenecks that actually matter.

Automate repetitive work

Tests, CI, and deployment should reduce manual risk and free attention for design.

Security by default

Auth, authorization, and least privilege belong in the architecture — not as afterthoughts.

Keep learning

Systems evolve. Stay curious about patterns, trade-offs, and production lessons.
